What is sexual violence?

Sexual violence is when someone does something sexual to which you have not consented. This can cover a range of behaviours, from sending you inappropriate messages to physical or emotional abuse. In short, sexual violence is an umbrella term for all the different forms in which this kind of behaviour can occur.

 What is sexual well-being?

Sexual well-being covers much more than birth control and sexual transmittable disease screening. It involves having a positive and respectful approach to sexuality and sexual relationships, as well as the ability of having pleasurable and safe sexual experiences. It acknowledges the need for the inclusion of consent, comfort, and pleasure.
